I have a phobia of taxidermy...?
It's stupid and embarrasing, but I do. Like if I go into a restaurant and there's a deer head mounted on the wall, I can't eat there. I start shaking and it's hard for me to breathe. I think it's because it reminds me of the finality of death, the emptiness afterword... but the main thing is, it's controlling my life and it's soooooo embarrasing and I want to get past it. How can I?
I would just avoid it, too. I hate it when I go someplace to eat and they have dead animals hanging on the wall. I don't have a phobia, but it's not pleasant and I will turn right around and walk back out.
